Everyone feels it differently. Most clients describe it as very manageable. Bony areas and thin skin are more sensitive, and we work at a pace that keeps you comfortable.

A tattoo surface heals in about 2 to 3 weeks, with deeper healing over a few months. Piercings take from 6 weeks up to 12 months depending on the placement.

What aftercare do you recommend?

Wash a new tattoo gently with unscented soap and apply a thin layer of balm. Clean a new piercing twice a day with sterile saline only. Full instructions are on our Aftercare page.

When can I swim again?

Avoid pools, the sea and hot tubs for at least 2 weeks after a tattoo, and until a piercing is fully healed.

Keep a fresh tattoo out of direct sun while it heals. Once healed, use a high-factor sunscreen — sun exposure is the main cause of fading.
